How do I get my certificate?
You choose and pay for your product. We will then give you a unique url (web address) to visit to obtain your certificate or security product. We also email this url with your receipt. This url is on the RapidSSL or GeoTrust's own servers, so you are actually collecting the product from them! You will go through the same process as if you has purchased the product directly, except this way it doesn't cost the full recommended retail price.
What about renewing an existing certificate?
If you already have a GeoTrust QuickSSL Premium or a RapidSSL certificate, the system will automatically recognise this during the order process. This is also true even if you purchased your certificate elsewhere, as they are all issued by GeoTrust. Just click the appropriate Buy Now link for your product and complete the checkout process. Once you have followed the unique url we give to you, the GeoTrust system will recognise your domain name as a renewal.
How long does it take?
That's up to you. We give you the url to obtain your certificate, so you can collect it straight away. Collecting your certificate normally takes as little as 15 to 20 minutes.
What is SSL?
